Shipping & delivery
Free worldwide shipping on every handmade piece.
Because our products range from ready-to-ship Thuya pieces to made-to-order furniture and architectural woodwork, preparation time depends on what you order. This page explains what to expect before and after dispatch.
At a glance
Before dispatch
Processing and production times
The preparation time shown below is separate from carrier transit time.
Jewelry boxes & wood sculptures
These products are generally prepared within 1–2 business days when available and ready for dispatch.
Most handmade products
Copper pieces, lighting, selected furniture and other handmade products generally require 7–10 business days before dispatch. Wooden bed frames generally take 14–21 business days.
Large & custom work
Cabinets, wooden doors and large made-to-order projects generally require around 3–4 weeks of production. Complex custom work may require additional time, which we will discuss with you.
Business-day estimates exclude weekends and public holidays. If a product page or custom quote states a different preparation time, that product-specific estimate takes priority.
After dispatch
Free worldwide shipping & delivery
After your order leaves our workshop, express delivery is usually about 3–5 business days for many destinations. Transit times are estimates and can vary because of customs, local carrier operations, remote-area delivery, weather or other events outside our control.
For oversized furniture, cabinets, doors and unusually large pieces, we still cover worldwide shipping. The delivery service and transit estimate may differ from standard express parcels; our team can confirm arrangements for your destination before dispatch.
Shipping cost: FREE
Shipping is free worldwide on every product, including jewelry boxes, copper sinks, bed frames, cabinets, doors and other large furniture. No minimum purchase is required and no shipping charge is added at checkout.
Import duties, VAT, taxes and customs clearance charges are separate from shipping and may be payable by the buyer.
Customs & import charges
Duties and taxes
International shipments may be subject to import duties, VAT, taxes, customs handling fees or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless we explicitly state otherwise for a specific order, these charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
Customs processing can occasionally delay delivery. Grain & Hammer does not control customs authorities or the amount they may charge.
Tracking
Follow your shipment
Once your order is dispatched, we send tracking information so you can follow the shipment. Tracking may take a short time to begin updating after the carrier receives the parcel.
Order changes & delivery issues
What happens if something changes?
Cancellation or modification
Contact us within 24 hours of ordering if you need to request a cancellation, address change or modification. We will do our best to help, but changes may not be possible once production or shipping has started.
Incorrect shipping address
Please check your shipping details carefully at checkout. If you notice an error, contact us as quickly as possible. Additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be the customer’s responsibility.
Marked delivered but not received
First check with household members, neighbors, building staff and the carrier. If the parcel still cannot be located, contact us with your order number and tracking details so we can review the case with you.
Damaged parcel
If your order arrives damaged, keep the packaging and contact us promptly with clear photos of the parcel and item. We will review the issue and explain the available resolution under our return and refund policy.
Shipping FAQ
Quick answers
Still unsure? Send us the product link and your destination country and we can help clarify the expected preparation and delivery process.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. All our handmade Moroccan products ship worldwide for free, including oversized furniture. Delivery timing and carrier service vary by product and destination.
Is the 3–5 day estimate the total order time?
No. The 3–5 business day estimate refers to typical express transit after dispatch. Processing or production happens before that.
Who pays customs duties?
Unless a specific order explicitly says otherwise, import duties, VAT and customs-related charges imposed by the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.
Can large furniture take longer?
Yes. Large furniture, cabinets, doors and custom work may require longer production, special packing or a different shipping method. We will communicate relevant details for the order.
